Okay so I recently got my laptop fixed, and everything was set to the default. I am unable to remember how to turn of the touch pad mouse built into the computer. This is very annoying because if I leave the cursor on something for more than a few seconds it automatically clicks on it. Also, just FYI the buttons for the settings, toolbox, and off screen in the upper right hand corner are malfunctioning.

    Hey guys,

I have this site http://www.thebloomery.co.uk and I cant get my 3 grey social media icons (right top) to align horizontally/one next to another.

They seem to stack. Is there a code check I can do or edit fix them horizontally across the top right.

    Thank you.

I have a Dell Intel Core 13 computer. I shut down my computer like I normally do and when I turned it back on later, the volume was on mute. I tried to click on the little volume icon but it just troubleshoots and gives me no answers. I’ve also tried turning the volume up and down on the computer. I have even went to the Control Panel and then went to Sound and Audio Devices, but it says there’s none “installed”. My speakers are ones that are built in. Any ideas what could have happened? What should I do to fix it?
Oops, when I said “I’ve also tried turning the volume up and down on the computer”, I meant on the computers keyboard.

I have a Dell Inspiron 600m running Ubuntu 11 with Linux and my laptop makes a clicking/beeping noise every time i press a key. This happens whether or not the speakers are muted or not. None of my keys are stuck and i do not have sticky keys on. I have tried changing the settings but cannot find anything related to this beeping noise. Any help?

Hey. I’ve just started a beauty blog http://prettypurchases.blogspot.co.uk/
I’ve noticed on other people’s blog they have a widget or something that has icons for other social network sites like Twiter, Facebook etc. Clicking on these takes you to their page.
I realise this is probably a silly question but I’m new to this and don’t have a clue.
I was just wondering how to set that up? When I tried to set up a widget like that, all I could find were ones for links to share the blog/that post.
Sorry for the ramble and thanks for any help you give.

I’m not talking about the political stuff. I’m suffering to the sociology side. The things that are shaped by pop culture and mainstream media.

  • Kaden October 10, 2013 at 5:40 am

What I mean is I see some people’s channel and they have twitter and facebook icons on the top of their channels that when you click on them it directs you to their page. I want to know if anyone knows how to do that. If you have a tutorial link that’s fine also. Thanks.

I just need it on until Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 installs successfully.

No I will not be awake all night so don’t be smart. I just want this download done by tomorrow and my computer sometimes locks itself which pauses the download. And then the download freezes up. Is there a way to prevent it from hibernating, locking, or shutting itself down for about 5 hours?

Thanks. If you don’t have an answer to this question, just quit reading this question or bothering to answer ok?

On a social networking website, is it legally okay to use the chat icons of major chat applications like Yahoo, Google, AIM, MSN or ICQ, lets say, on the user profile page to display the user IM contact information?

  • musicistabest October 17, 2013 at 8:47 pm

So I had windows vista, I typically just pop in the disc and watch. I recently upgraded to win 8, I pop in the disc and nothing happens. Took me forever to find windows media player, and that wont play the disc either, nor will a recently downloaded VLC player. : /
Win 8 is a fresh install, everthing on vista worked good. VLC just crashes.
Update, installed a program called, “Easy DVD Player” from download.com
So far its working, not a very good performing program in-terms of video quality nor playback smoothness.

I am looking for a GIF or other file format of rotating icons of Twitter, Facebook, Blogger and wordpress. I want to add them on top of a video. Do these exist?

  • heavenly sword October 23, 2013 at 12:31 am

For instance, the 2012 winner was not very detailed or even creative. I saw so many breathtaking logos that weren’t even state winners! Why is this? It’s blatant that there are so many better doodles.

I’m currently doing a research paper for my Mass Communications class. I already am mentioning the Werther effect in relation to celebrity suicides, the effect that unrealistic standards has on young women, and how the media creates our cultural icons and social martyrs. However I feel like I might be missing something. Thanks for your help.

I have a Dell inspiration with Windows 7. I stream videos onto my TV using the HDMI output. I tried to adjust the settings for my TV so that it would end up being the right hand monitor. However I can only get it The left-handed monitor, which is the main monitor as windows is Typically left-hand justified. I’m not sure what I did but now when I plug the TV in the computer monitor goes to a wallpaper with no icons (presumably the right monitor) and now the TV is a black screen. I’d like to at least get back to mirroring. Please help

Hi everybody, I want to add a social media sidebar on my website (webs.com free site).

    How do I do this!!!

  • Mak Sultan November 5, 2013 at 1:32 pm

They’re gone, like when I turn on the computer it just shows the wallpaper but not the desktop icons or the task bar. I have no idea what to do. I need help. I have Windows X Professional. My computer is Dell. I’ve tried a bunch of things, only one thing seemed to work, I opened up task manager and I managed to open Firefox and somehow everything went back to normal(or so I thought) I tried to restart it, I thought the computer would work fine but it went back to not having the desktop icons or the task bar. So I really need help? Btw: I have Norton Security Suite. I also tried Safe mode with networking, unfortunately it didn’t work it was just black with safe mode around the screen. How do I get my computer to go back to normal? Please Help :)

  • nasty1 November 17, 2013 at 12:22 pm

I know there are multiple ways, but I am having difficulty pinpointing the best option. For my personal one, I inserted the images and then hyperlinked them. But I figured there was a way to provide html code for everyone to use that would be easier. I did find a couple HTML generators that will generate the images with links for you but the one was blurry and the others did not include all the icons we needed. We are looking for a blog icon, facebook, google plus, linkedin, twitter and youtube. Please help!

Does a business genuinely benefit from using Facebook or Twitter? Or are they just social entities?

  • radha November 23, 2013 at 8:31 pm

I recently installed all of my Sims 2 packs onto my new Dell Inspiron Ultrabook that operates with Windows 7. When I first started playing, I could only play the game in a square instead of it filling the entire screen. After looking through yahoo answers, I finally found the solution that would make the game widescreen. Well now everything is small in the game. When I go to make a new family, the option where you change hair, clothes, etc. is very close to my sim. Like, the game itself fill the entire screen, but the icons and everything in the game don’t spread with the game itself…if that makes sense?
