I’m naming my twins Michael and Melodie, I just need middle names for them. Any suggestions?

  • Mr SoLo DoLo August 15, 2013 at 8:36 am

Im 17 weeks 2 days pregnant with twins, a boy and girl.
We already have a daughter named Gabrielle Nikole.
Our boy name is Nicholas James (james is a family name) and our girl name is Aurora (we dont have a middle name picked out yet.)
We would like to have 2 names picked out for each gender though, and pick between the two when they are here 🙂 I really like Micah for a boy, but have any middle name suggestions? (also you can suggestion first names)
And for the other girl name, we do like Verona alot but you can still suggest some names if you would like.
We dont like extremely popular names, or filler names (like marie, grace, etc.) and we hate matchy names.
Last name is Williams by the way.
Everyone commenting about the middle name Nikole:
We already have a daughter named that if you didnt read that part/read over it or something. Her name is ALREADY Gabrielle Nikole, we arent changing her name.

My aunt is having a baby (don’t know the sex yet) but our family has to sort of stick to tradition and slightly old English names it’s been a tradition in our family for hundreds of years to pick meaningful names and he can’t really pick something ultra modern like Caitlin or Blaine.
Need both girl and boy names please
    Thank you:))))

  • Maggie September 23, 2013 at 2:55 am

The setting is 2009, not sure where I’d like it to be located yet.
    Somewhere cold, for sure…

The girl is beautiful and is 19. In my description she is about 5 foot 6, has long brown copper locks, pale skin, and is clumsy. She’s a good girl but has gotten in to drugs and has issues with anorexia.

Her boyfriend abuses her, has piercing blue eyes, is 20, and jet black hair he’s 6 foot 2, and has a fake facade. Reminds me of one of those black husky dogs with blue eyes.

Her best friend is 19 and he is 6 foot 1, sandy brown hair, and is into indie music. He’s very understanding and passionate.

I’ve considered Rose for the girl, I want something beautiful yet imperfect. For her friend I want something romantic such as Edward or Sebastian.
Persephone or Rosabelle are two other names I’ve considered for the female.

  • Death Knight September 28, 2013 at 1:19 am

I found out yesterday that I am having triplets – 2 identical babies and 1 non identical. 😀 😀 😀

I still don’t know the sex of the babies.
They could be 2 identical boys & 1 non identical boy, 2 identical boys & 1 non identical girl, 2 identical girls & 1 non identical boy or 2 identical boys & 1 non identical girl!

My partner and I have been thinking of names and this is what we have come up with – what do you think of these names?

    Caden Peter Penn [Cade]
    Carter Emmett Blake
    Chace Harvey Isaac
    Edward Adam Parker [Ed]
    Jacoby Oscar Freddie [Coby]
    Lhyton Alexander Yale [Lhyt]
    Whyatt Salem Gray [Why]

    Autumn Katharine Grace
    Camilla Makensie Erin [Cammie]
    Cassidy Leighton Briar [Cassie]
    Coraline Acasia Willow [Cora]
    Demetria Isla May [Demi]
    Eleanor Harlow November [Nora]
    Emmaline Alice Madeline [Emmie]

Please comment on each one. I am open to suggestions.

The person who comments on each name and provides suggestions will get 10 points for best answer 😀
I was told that the likelihood is that they are 2 identical & 1 non identical, because 2 are sharing a sac and 1 has it’s own individual sac.

Hopefully this question isn’t too specific to just me, but it is something I struggle with. Considering the number of engineering and similar students there are I would think someone else could benefit from some solid answers. Anyways, the background:

I have always been a math and science kind of guy, I’m majoring in electrical engineering, and I think the things I am learning are hella cool. Calculus was a breeze, physics is extremely intuitive. These are typical traits of many of my peers.

At the same time though, I’ve always been an extremely emotional person. I LOVE music, and the deeper and more emotional the song is the more I like it. I’m easily moved by romantic and/or sad movies. I have suffered and been treated for mild depression before. Nothing particularly abnormal, but I’d say I was slightly different than a typical american guy.

I never did learn how to play any instruments (though I learned some music theory just for the fun of it) and I’m no good at drawing, yet I am insanely jealous of my friends who can play instruments or draw well, since they are able to create and share their thoughts and emotions with others, in a creative way.

I just feel sort of trapped, like a one way radio sort of; I can FEEL, I just can’t share how I feel with others or make others feel a certain way. At least in a creative way. I could write some prose about how I feel I guess but thats not exactly what I am looking for.

So, good people of yahoo answers, do you know any ways in which a person like me could use their skills to express themselves creatively instead of logically?

And to be clear, in this context I consider being clever and creative different. Yes, I know that engineers often have to be clever. The word engineer shares the same latin root as the word ingenious after all. But I’m looking for a more artistic form of expression.
