However, I appologize, but I do not subscribe to your entire idea, all be it refreshing none the less. It seems to me that your comments are not totally justified and in fact you are yourself not fully convinced of the argument. In any case I did enjoy reading it.

  • sam N August 28, 2013 at 6:00 pm

This is my first time putting up a Christmas tree on my own. Most people take theirs down the day after Christmas and some people keep it up til New Years. I just wanted to see what other people think.

We go to Church on Christmas Eve and this year i am playing my flute with my 2 best friends and 11:00 on Christmas eve. We eat under candle light on Christmas eve. A few of us go out burping and looking At lights. We have a really fun Christmas season.

    Merry Christmas, everybody.

  • nothin_nyce1 September 26, 2013 at 1:51 am

Here’s an idea. The origins of Christmas, or at least much the customs of Christmas, are in ancient traditions or customs, or at least they can be linked. So, what if we pay homage to Christmas’ ancient history by celebrating all the many religions or ways of thought, but not the people behind them (because they corrupted it). Why not celebrate the time of the uncorrupted idea?

  • crzyinluv September 26, 2013 at 6:24 am

Christmas is coming up (woohoo!) and I wanna start learning some Christmas songs on my guitar. I already know a few carols but I was wondering if you could make a list of popular Christmas songs that I could try to learn on guitar like ‘Last Christmas’

  • Mark M September 26, 2013 at 4:43 pm

The station I listen to most started a 100% Christmas music format on December 10th, but after the 5 PM news on Christmas Day, they reverted to their regular format. That seemed a little too soon as Christmas Day wasn’t over. Even today some other stations are still playing Christmas music intermittently.

  • Jesse September 26, 2013 at 11:16 pm

I always want a great Christmas like I had the last 2 years but some years it is good but not great. How can I enjoy both and not be such a perfectionist? This can apply to other special occasions during the year also though it is most noticed at Christmas.

  • Only Business September 28, 2013 at 12:40 pm

Since Christmas is coming I would like to write a nice short story about christmas surprises and disappointments. There should be something to learn for all of us during the season of giving.

  • andresumoza September 29, 2013 at 7:40 am

To start off, I do not celebrate Christmas religiously. I follow Ethical Hedonism, do what you want within safe, legal limits. I celebrate Christmas for the fun of it. My family has always said that when the Santa Claus float passes the star at the Macy’s Parade then at that moment, the Christmas season begins.

  • Brody S October 2, 2013 at 7:38 pm

This will be my first Christmas as a mom and I love the holiday season. I am looking for some ideas of things I can do every year with my daughter to make Christmas a very special and memorable time.

  • lucasg615 October 23, 2013 at 3:42 pm

I appreciate Christmas for the spiritual meanings, but as far as Christmas goes other wise, I wish that it would end quickly. It’s a majorly depressing time of year, far too commercialized and all the cheer is as phoney as a six dollar bill.

  • Beavis November 3, 2013 at 7:14 pm

I love Christmas a little too much, but when do you start buying gifts and when do you put your tree up?
I try to buy stuff for my friends such as bath stuff all year around, as it keeps really well, and then I make cookies and fudge to go with them…

Tomorrow is Christmas eve and every year that day seems to go by so slow because I have to wait all day to go to my family’s Christmas party. Do you have any idea what to do when im waiting? Thank you if you answer.

My mom loves Christmas movies so I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations of good Christmas movies to get for her. Nothing scary, I know there are scary ones out there. And no Die Hard type films please. Nice Christmas movies. They can be sad or happy. Thank you.

  • davemc74656 November 19, 2013 at 6:19 am

I am wanting to hit the slopes over the Christmas break. I can only go one day and want to choose the day that will likely be the least crowded. I can go Thursday which is Christmas Eve, Friday which is Christmas Day, or Saturday which is the day after Christmas. Based on your experience, which day do you think would be the least crowded?

  • whitesoxfan2347 November 19, 2013 at 11:30 pm

My daughter will have one for Christmas eve and one for Christmas day. She also uses one for our family Christmas photo. So far she actually doesn’t have any but I’m thinking of going today to get her one because we want to get our Christmas pictures done tonight. How many does your child have? What is he/she wearing?

Christmas is coming and I want some ideas. What would be a good type of Christmas card for our wedding reception caterer. The reception is at a hotel and he is so helpful I want to surprise him by sending him a nice Christmas card from the both of us.
