You know when you email someone and gmail and hit reply, instead of having two separate emails, it combines them as one conversation. How do I do this Mozilla Thunderbird? I entered my gmail account into T-Bird and it dividing my conversations into separate emails and their were like 500 of them.
Wow sorry about my grammar. I just got back from the gym and my mind is not working correctly my good sirs.

I am getting tired of using gmail as a result of privacy issues and want to use yahoo as my main email account. Can I set up my gmail address in yahoo as well as additional accounts without the yahoo extension?

  • Austin September 4, 2013 at 12:45 pm

I trust gmail because they have a verification process before you can complete signing up an email account with them. I am just wondering how scammers generate hundreds of Gmail emails. That doesn’t mean they have hundreds of phone numbers they register their gmail accounts under, right?

I am working with a financial institution and more often than not, people are receiving emails from gmail accounts.

I have a gmail account and it seems like almost every new messaged is being marked as important. This is a problem because it seems to be affecting the settings on my android device. Important messages no longer appear as a notification because it seems like every message is important. So I no longer get notified when I actually do have an important message incoming.

Basically what I am asking is, how do I stop messages from being marked as important on Gmail, but still keep my notifications for the messages that actually are important to me???

Please help me with this as I have already lost potential buyers on Craigslist because of this issue. Thanks in advance!!!

I had a gmail that was synced to my Android prevail but it was, for no reason, canceled so I made a new one but now I can’t download apps because it keeps asking me to sign into the old one. Why does it have a remove account button if it doesn’t remove it? I find that very retarded and useless

I use Yahoo mail for everything, particularly for emailing. I recently traded my computer for a more powerful one and now when I go into Craig’s List it goes to Outlook 2007. I want it to go to Yahoo Mail like it did before. I wnet into “Internet Options” and the only 3 there to choose from is = Windows Live Hotmail/Outlook Express & Netmeeting.

I want Yahoo to show up whenever I go to send an email but can NOT figure out how to do it. Could sombody please reply back with simple step-by-step instructions on how to get Yahoo mail to show up whenever I go to send a reply from Craig’s List.

I found it soooo annoying that I always have to undo gmail’s “formatting option” tool bar every single time I write a new email. I hate that it always pops up when I click compose. How can I disable it from popping up? I still want the rich text format (not plain text) just don’t want the formatting option to pop up all the time.

Deleted items in gmail are lost after about 30 days I believe. So how does one create an archive folder that keeps them for longer, but not in the in box. Is the problem that this can be done on a PC, but not through the iPad version?

I am trying to configure my gmail in Outlook 2007 Manually. But an Error arises

    User Info:

    Name:my name
    Email:my gmail

    Server Info;

    Account typr:IMAP(Enabled same in gmail)
    Incoming mail server:imap.gmail.com
    outgoing mail server(smtp):smtp.gmail.com

    Logon Info

    Gmail credentials

    In More settings(at right)–>outgoing server.Checked the box
In More settings(at right) —>Advanced–>input server port 993,SSL Encryption
output server port 587(automatically changes to 25 after TLS selection),TLS selection

    Teasting account settings

Logon to incoming mail server(IMAP) completed
I think sending a test mail fails

    Below is ERROR:

Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

I googled on same. In few blogs they mentioned isp may block out going port 25.Is this is something related with router.Mine is Belkin Router. How to proceed in this process. Please advice me.
