My Outlook is for Office 2007.
Basically every time i open outlook to configure it i have problem, i enter my email address , the password and then it asks me for the password my ISP provided so i enter that too.
When it searches for my account (i have tried several accounts just to make sure it wasn’t my email) it finds it but then something else happens.
I also need outlook for my iPhone so at the moment when i sync, the data is going nowhere.
I’m sure its not difficult but it could help if someone could help my problem. Thanks in advance.

If so, do you think it’s because you’re actively trying to change your own habits in order to be a more positive influence in you child’s life?

Or, do you think it’s because fulfilling your responsibility towards raising your children in this world, getting to know your children as unique individuals, has changed the way you view yourself in relationship with other people in life?

Are you realizing, as you teach your children lessons in life & set expectations for them, that you have a lot of room for improvement yourself? Has your life philosophy changed, as you made decisions about what to teach your children in life?

Or is it something else altogether (or a combination of all kinds of things)?

And, do you think that you would have made these changes, grown in this same direction, if you had not had children?

Question inspired by this video – very thought provoking for me:

My outlook express wont log off identity when I shut off my computer. I have outlook express set up to ask for a password for identities but sometimes it does not ask which makes my emails vulnerable. I would like to make it more secure without installing any third part software in my computer. Any help will be really appreciated.

I have over 45000 emails in my outlook express inbox. I need to save them in my external hard disk to keep them as backup. When i select them all and drag them to the hard disk, it works well, but after sometime an error message appears “Not enough storage to process that command”, but i know there is large amount of space in my hard disk. It copies only around 6000 emails and the others remain uncopied.
    Please help.

I have two users on my machine, one of which has all of my emails and contacts in outlook express (user 1), the other one doesn’t (user 2). I have added the same email account to outlook express in user 2 but none of my contacts or messages have been imported, it’s as if it is a new account. So i want to know if i can make outlook express in user 2 load all the emails and contacts present in user 1? Any help is much appreciated.

I have set up outlook express on one PC account and it works fine. But how do I get it to receive the same emails on different PC accounts without stopping other accounts from receiving the same messages. Is it as simple as signing into the same internet account? Will that allow different accounts to receive the messages? Or do you have to create a shared message store or something?

I don’t use the Outlook Express, as I use Yahoo! Mail. Even if I disable the program or delete it, the Outlook Express folder & its contents respawn in the Program Files. For example, when I try to email a company, that stupid OE dialog opens up & can’t compose a message using my Yahoo! Mail to email them. Why should I have to go through stupid setup options in the OE program if I already have an email account w/ Yahoo! Mail?

Yahoo effectively filters spam but something happens in the process of transferring to Outlook Express. I assume Outlook collects all filtered and unfiltered emails. Is there a way of not collecting the filtered ones?

And how do I get the server information. Or what is the server information rather?

Every time I scan something, or go to a place to email for a question, it automatically uses my outlook express. I never use my outlook. I always use my yahoo. My outlook email address is my maiden name not my married name. Is there a place in my computer that I can change it to be yahoo instead?

We have always accessed our internet on Outlook Express, which had 2 identities. I’ve now put a laptop on the network, and it uses the same server for email, but only the Main Identity of the 2 identities have come through. How do I make it so I can use both identities on the laptop?

Whenever I access my e-mail directly, Outlook Express 6 tries to make itself my new e-mail site. I have YAHOO and I want to keep it. I don’t trust this action because it may contain something I don’t want installed. I don’t encounter this problem when I access tmy e-mail from the YAHOO home page. Do I need to call tech support in India?

  • PoohBearPenguin November 18, 2013 at 7:32 am

I use Outlook Express and have 3 ‘identities’ which need a password to open. I know it’s not totally secure, but it keeps my emails private from my family. I’d like to use an alternative, such as Thunderbird, but when I last tried, there was no way to password protect accounts. Is there in the latest version, or is there another alternative (NOT webmail!)!

  • tjpimpin November 19, 2013 at 4:43 am

I have Dell D610 Latitude, Windows XP2 Pro, Explorer 8, and whenever I try to reply to a Craigslist ad an Outlook Express box opens up for my message. I type in the message, hit send, and nothing happens. Used to be I could see a progress bar fill, and a confirmation of message sent would appear. Now nothing. And I know the messages are not being received. Same problem on some CareerBuilder ads that use Outlook Express for your reply email.

Swap out an old school 10gb ide for an 80gb ide. Should I just use the XP easy transfer wizard? would that make sure her account shows up? I don’t know how to pull up her outlook express account on new computers, some weird stuff about POP3.

Can i do a fresh install of xp, and than do something with an image file?

  • krunal November 29, 2013 at 12:17 pm

We would like our pc to use Yahoo mail to email directly from this pc instead of Outlook Express. When we try to sendan email from let’s say, word the pc tries to send the information using Outlook Express. No one here uses Outloo Express. We need to copy and paste to the desktop or some other place then attach it to an email in order to be able to send the information desired.

I have searched the answers, but I am not finding exactly what I need. I have set up a new account on outlook express on a new computer, but I can’t figure out how to import the other 2 email accounts into outlook express.
